depends who u ask, like on my pistol, its KJW, some people hate it, but some people buy ONLY KJW...so yeah ionno, depends.
if you are thinking about buying an M9, i would go with Tokyo Marui. i have tried many other company m9's (HFC, and a few others) and they dont even come close to Tokyo Marui. thats just my opinion though, other people may have different ideas. it also depends on what kind of gun you are looking for (M9, Glock, 1911, etc.). i havent tried western arms GBB's, but i have heard very good things; especially from the 1911 series. the best way to find out, is to try different guns at AEX or just from experience. everyone has a different opinion..... _________________ $hit happens when you party naked

WA makes the best pistols if you can afford them,
Marui's can take Green out the box aslong as your smart with them.
KSC is nice cause they have a couple pistols that no one eles has
Tanaka well stay away from anything that isnt a revolver, they dont preform well at all, they are mostally for show _________________ The Day of Reckoning is coming - Jan 29th 2009

Ditto, M9s feel nice in the hand, but having an exposed barrel makes it too easy for dirt and crap to work it's way between the slide and barrel. Reliability goes right out the window.
Plus why take a M9 when you can have a Glock or Sig with a match grade barrel and 33 round magazine?

WA M9 (perfect version). The feel is amazing compared to TM. My buddy has a TM, slide lock broke, springs went out, and it blew both the seals(arf). But thats what happens when you buy used. I run green in my WA M9 and so far it takes it fine. I cant begin to tell you how much better it feels than a TM m9...Anyways, if you havent desided and if you go to the sept 4th game Ill let you check out/shoot it. Oh, and the mags dont leak _________________ In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.
A.) Who's the hottie in the avator window, and
B.) WA are expensive and internals are not quite as durable as KWC/KWA. But there are lots of options with WA's, moreso than a lot of companies I think. There are a couple nice M93 R's out, some with meatal slides, some without. Those are longer M9's with extended (38 rd) mags and a metal flip-down foregrip. I've had mine for two years, with not much to complain about (aside from loobing too much when I first got it, causing it to shotgun-fire). Not a shabby gun at all, unless you don't want a heavy gun. _________________

Supposedly, the KSC/KWA USP is good too, but I've heard mixed reviews on it. Some people like it, others have a lot of problems with them. Definitely better than the KJW USP, though. The KJW and HFC M9's are pretty good too, being direct knockoffs of the TM ones. If anything goes wrong, any upgrade part for a TM will work on the KJW or HFC. The TM/KJW/HFC Glocks work extremely well too, but are less popular than the KSC/KWA Glocks.
If you want a good beater gun, the KSC/KWA Glocks are probably the best bet. The TM M9's are super reliable too. Hate how they feel in hand, though. Too bulky. I, personally, favor the single stack WA SCW2 1911's. I'm currently eyeballing that WA MARSOC model with the scalloped grips. (Yeah, nobody likes them but me. Helps you keep a good grip when you've got sweaty hands.) I've found that I don't like any of the WA pistols with the old Magna gas system. They're very tempermental in extreme temperatures. The SCW2 system seems much less affected by ambient temperature.
All gas pistols can take 134a or green gas, depending on the ambient temperature. To generically say that one gun can take a type of gas, but another can't, is wrong. Gasses have different pressures at different temperatures. When they hit atmosphere, they expand and that's what pushes the bb forward, as well as moves the slide back. Here's a chart from Snowman's site about gas pressures...
