DONT use wikipedia, they have alot of false information. It really depends on what you want to be. There were so many different ranks,branches that all wore completly different uniforms. Start out by typing German WWII late war impression, or early war impression etc. Same with american. There's these things called "books" They are quite rare, especially ones with the correct information on this topic. Do not rely on the internet for this topic. I've been into WWII history and collecting for most of my life. There are alot of books out there on this topic and I've found there are very few accurate books on the subject of WWII uniforms in general. So then, what information are YOU looking for? Most of the GI stuff is original since there were no reproductions availible. The German stuff is 50/50 real and repro. The German field gear is all real as well.
